Preschool

Today was Noah's first day of Preschool. Last night he got a new pair of pjs as a present to start his school year. I took a ton of pictures. I dont know why I snapped so many pictures of last night, I think I expected him to be 6 foot tall & to have grown a beard overnight. How can my little baby boy be starting school already? After a couple of night time books & some very extra special prayers for my BIG guy, I tucked him in extra tight.....

There was no beard or growth spurt through the night, he is still the same little 4 year old guy whoLAUGHS at everything, HUGS & KISSES babies, picks at his sister, KNOWS that Jesus is in his heart & has never met a stranger . He woke up ready to go this morning!!!!

we made it through the morning & then we were on our way......

He said he is ready to go back tomorrow... just dont know if Im ready yet.....

Thanks Hannah & Cheryl!!!

A perfect pair of shoes can change your life, just ask Cinderella.

horsing around!

On Sunday, the kids & I went to Pete's maternal grandfathers family reunion. Peter had to work & could not make it.The kids had a great time seeing their GG (great grandma) & their grandparents.
The kids picked up candy scattered on the ground in a timed game & were able to take rides on 2 beautiful horses, Nelly & Nifty. On their first ride they went together, however the next 4 times they went on their own!!!

The basement

The kids finally got their basement play room back, after our flooding we were dreading getting back into the basement to get it organized again. We finally did it!!! Peter worked really hard to get everything that I wanted moved around into place, he even came up with a great little area for the kids kitchen!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!! The kitchen had been in our living room pretty much since we moved here, I wanted to reclaim some adult space, so to the basement it went.

wedding weekend

We had a whirlwind weekend, Friday we headed to Indiana for the wedding rehearsal & to pick up Noah's suit. He had a blast trying it on... Saturday was the wedding. It was nice to see family & old friends. The wedding was very sweet, my brother cried when he saw his daughter come down the aisle, it was very moving. His bride looked beautiful. Noah did a great job, he made it down the aisle, he just had a little trouble staying on the stage. Noah & Lauren had a great time dancing. We were able to have Trinity & Aaron this weekend, which was a lot of fun. Sunday we took Aaron home & spent the night in Kentucky, Monday we took Trinity back to her mom's in Ohio & we came home.
I am so happy for Michael. He has finally found someone that he can love & trust. Congratulations!!!
